Rock and Roll Thrives on Halloween at the TLA

TLA Halloween Marquee

We wanted to take a minute and reflect on the absolutely incredible time we had last Saturday, joining our compatriots in Philly rock, Stolen Rhodes, Black Stars, and Kid Felix, for a mind-blowing Halloween party at the TLA.

Together with a an amazing crowd of ghouls, goblins, a couple of Marios, and a gigantic gerbil (thanks Vince), we took part in a testament to the power of rock and roll. Everyone was on their A game, and with the help of some seriously sexy burlesque dancers and some pumping DJ tunes, the night was absolutely unreal.

Cold Roses at the TLA

For us in Cold Roses, the whole thing went by too quickly. We left everything on the stage though, and together we spent the night watching our favorite bands do the same.

Not until the next day did it start to dawn on us that we had just played one of the most iconic stages in the city, with some of our best friends in the scene, in front of the best crowd Philly had to offer.

So I wanted to thank all the people that made that possible; Justin, Vince, Edwin, and the rest of the Dobbs crew. We love you guys. The Chive for doing what you do best. All of the bands; we love playing music with you guys…and Dan and Matt, We Believe In Rock and Roll! And finally, all of our fans and all of the new Cold Roses converts. You’re why we do this, and it wouldn’t have been half as fun playing this show without you guys front row.

Thanks you guys, and see ya’ll Friday the 8th at The Bitter End in NYC.
